A good exercise in bad app design

I have been with this app from the early days, for lack of alternatives. This has never been a well written or well designed app, but I had already invested too much in comic purchases to walk away. Now I cannot even access most my content anymore. For the majority of my comics, the app asks me to sign in (which I am). Usual workarounds like restoring purchases or signing in/out or force quitting the app did not help.

Regarding bad app design: get the basics right! Scrolling through my library is slow and jerky. I couldnt care less that I can now scale the size of the covers if I still cant scroll properly. I also cannot sort or group titles by series or get notifications when new releases are out (there is a configuration flag for this, but it never worked). The marker whether a comic has been read is still not set and reset correctly. Even the most basic feature of all is missing: if the app is suspended, it does not return to the comic (let alone page) I was reading. This is amateurish at best.

I very much regret ever having purchased this and every new comic I buy on this abysmal platform pains me. Stay way if you still can! Nowadays, there are better alternatives.
